Whilst good quality e-bikes are very robust, most are not designed to be used as mountain bikes and you shouldn’t go on off-road, rocky tracks or through water. However, we have carefully selected the tyres so that they can be used on the Opua Rail Trail.
We have researched some interesting routes for you to explore the area in a series of suggested half-day/day rides. We can provide you with maps at the time of hire.
You cannot use our bikes in the Waitangi Forest Bike Park as they are not intended for this type of terrain.
